Rejuvenage Medical Aesthetics provides anti-wrinkle injections in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire. Used to remove fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily paralysing muscles, the anti-wrinkle injections use prescription medicines and require a consultation prior to treatment, where a medical history will be taken to assess suitability for the procedure.
Once a treatment plan is identified and agreed, the area will be cleaned and numbed before small amounts of the anti-wrinkle injection are injected into the muscles. The needle used to inject the anti-wrinkle treatment is incredibly fine, much like an acupuncture needle, and many patients say that they barely feel the procedure.
Over a period of time – typically up to two weeks – these will block the nerve impulse which makes the muscle move. After treatment, small raised bumps may be visible on the skin surface and there may be a small bruise on the injection site. Carol-Anne will arrange a review with follow-up treatment if required at two to four weeks after the initial treatment to check the anti-wrinkle injection has taken effect. Anti-wrinkle treatments typically last three to six months and can be retreated as muscle action returns, however often the wrinkles appear less severe over time.
A deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment and this will be deducted from the cost of your treatment.
